Edition # 2

Let the Season Begin

The coaching staff is excited to get this year started! Our season will officially begin Monday, August 1, 2022. By now, everyone who received an invitation to join ACSA this year, should be registered. The registration link is: http://clubindependent.org/registration.

Uniforms

All uniforms have been ordered, so we would like to thank the parents for completing this task quickly. Our prayer is for the uniforms to return in a timely manner, so we can have them at the start of the season.

Pay Pal Payments

If you are going to pay ACSA through PayPal make sure to change the “Paying for an item or service” to “For friends and family” to avoid the additional charges of 2.9% + $0.30. Otherwise, please include the additional charges added by Pay Pal when you pay because the club cannot afford to incur this cost at this time. For example, we received a payment for $400.00; however, we are charged $11.90 by Pay Pal, so we actually only received $388.10 for team fees.

Player Emergency Form

Everyone needs to fill out the following form before the fall season.

Emergency Form

Kick Arounds

At least twenty or more players have attended the Kick Arounds each week. This is a great opportunity for the players to bond and learn how to work with each other on and off the pitch.

Practices

Practices will start August 2 and August 3 for all teams.

Schedules:

Upcoming Events

Saturday, July 30th- ACSA Parent/Player Workshop

Summary: The ACSA Parent Workshop will include a session facilitated by an experienced referee. During this session, we will have an opportunity to experience the game from the referees’ point of view. The coaching staff will facilitate the second session. During this session, we will have multiple game-like scenarios that will include parent interaction. Our goal is to demonstrate and explain the game from our point of view as well. We hope to build a positive working relationship between all stakeholders, i.e. parents, players, coaches, and referees. A detailed agenda will be provided closer to the date.

Saturday, August 6th- Team Building Event

Summary: Players will have an opportunity to come together and participate in team building activities designed to strengthen their working relationship during practices and games.
